STEPHEN HUMPHREY
Stephen joined Gian-Grasso & Tomczak Immigration Law Group as a paralegal in 2021 where he works with directly with the attorneys in preparing various immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions.
Stephen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture from the University of Delaware in 2020. As part of his education, Stephen worked as a research assistant for his professor that was publishing a book about South American indigenous culture. In his research, Stephen specifically explored how indigenous communities express themselves through their weaving traditions. During his final semester in Spring 2020, he worked with the University to provide translation and interpreting services to assist in informing the Hispanic community about COVID-19 and other medical issues.
Stephen is fluent in Spanish and works closely with both attorneys and clients in each immigration case. He specializes in various applications, including family-based petitions, Special Immigrant Juvenile, Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, U-Visa Nonimmigrant, T-Visa Nonimmigrant, and Affirmative Asylum applications. Stephen has additionally assisted the attorneys in various removal matters.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys gardening, comedy, foreign films, and discovering new things in Philadelphia.
