ICE detainees go on hunger strike in N.J amid coronavirus fears

In the Essex County Correctional Facility in New Jersey, immigrant detainees have organized a hunger strike in hopes of being released, “either on bond or bracelet monitoring,” to avoid the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. As the number of positive cases grows in the United States, ICE must release all detainees for the sake of public health. #FreeThemAll
