We received news last night that while the legality and constitutionality of Matthew Whitaker’s position as Attorney General is actively being challenged, he has already taken it upon himself to try to undue existing case law and further dismantle the asylum process. Specifically, he is reviewing a case called Matter of L-E-A- that protects those seeking asylum due to persecution based on a family group. Encourage your representatives to speak out against this abuse of power.
